Overview:
A career opportunity exists for a skilled Production Operations Specialist to lead and oversee the fabrication workflow, ensuring adherence to established quality standards and production schedules. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of extrusion procedures, equipment, and relevant guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain the quality of extrusion fabrication outputs, identifying inconsistencies and deviations from established standards.
• Train and reinforce employees on machine operation, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Inspect fabrication outputs to ensure they meet quality expectations.
• Coordinate or recommend procedures for facility or equipment maintenance, including machine replacement.
• Ensure production is accomplished as per production schedule and specifications.
• Provide direction on project tasks and hold team members accountable for safety, quality, and production.
• Conduct daily briefings with the crew to review production goals and performance feedback.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a production engineer in construction or manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of extrusion procedures, equipment, and Work Safety Guidelines (WSG).
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and shop drawings.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using various material handling and fabrication equipment.
