Overview: The Finance Team for the E-Commerce Business Unit is primarily tasked with the responsibility of delivering comprehensive reports on management and financial metrics, as well as analyzing data for the HQ E-commerce division. This encompasses the creation of reports and other deliverables pertinent to management and financial figures for senior executives, business partners, and various stakeholder teams. The team also maintains all data relevant to these reporting functions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate, review, and analyze periodic reports that provide financial insights and business intelligence, including assessments of business trends and their potential impacts on financial outcomes.
  • Management Support: Address queries from the management team regarding financial and business data.
  • Executive Presentations: Assist in preparing presentations and materials for executive-level meetings, such as quarterly business reviews.
  • Methodology Development: Enhance analytical methodologies and presentations to effectively measure and communicate business performance, including the rollout of new financial reporting templates.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with various internal and external groups, ensuring financial information is current and accurate.

Forecasting Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend the components of the profit and loss forecast and provide detailed analysis to stakeholders, including Controllers, Directors, and the CFO.
  • Support and evaluate forecast trends, posing independent and objective inquiries to enhance forecast precision.
  • Implement improvements in financial modeling during forecasting and budgeting processes to boost efficiency and accurately reflect evolving business conditions.
  • Input forecast data into systems and integrate forecast figures into periodic financial reports, offering management trend analysis and business insights.

Additional Contributions:

  • Participate in special projects that offer opportunities to develop leadership skills in project management.
  • Continuously seek process improvements by identifying opportunities to enhance or automate reporting and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across finance, IT, and business sectors.
  • Proficient in data analytics with strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent summarization and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude, capable of navigating ambiguity.
