Senior Marine Operations Specialist

This is a challenging position that requires a strong background in marine operations, technical management, and administration.
Responsibilities:- To assist in the preparation, review, and management of all technical documentation, vessel certificates, maintenance records, compliance records etc.
- To provide administrative support and coordination for any vessel inspections, repairs, and docking works.
- To liaise with customers on technical and operational matters including vessel performance etc.
- To attend to vessel docking, repairs, and surveys when required and supervise contractors' repair/maintenance works on board the vessel.
- To monitor the technical status of vessels in terms of Class certificates and surveys and ensure that all statutory certificates, equipment certificates etc are properly maintained, documented, and up-to-date.
- To identify and source technical and operational supplies required for the vessels' needs and coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery.
- To monitor and control vessels' consumables to prevent unnecessary wastage.
- To keep track of vessels LSA, FFA, cargo hoses registry, lifting gears registry, and PPE of all shipboard personnel.
- To work closely with the HES team to ensure smooth implementation and compliance of company safety and quality standards.
- To assist in investigating any defects/failures occurred and reporting all vessels incidents/near misses to prevent and eliminate any potential incidents.
- To maintain crew records inclusive of certificates, training, medical checks, and coordinating in crew changes.
- Relevant working experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid Class 3 Driving License.
