Job Overview
The role of a Debt Recovery Officer is to recover outstanding debts from debtors via phone calls, negotiation and follow-up actions.
- Debt Collection: Conduct debt collection activities from debtors via phone calls and negotiations.
- Follow-up Actions: Initiate necessary follow-up actions for collection in accordance with defined processes.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative duties including payment monitoring and file management.
- Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service while ensuring all collection actions comply with company policies and procedures.
- Strong Written, Communication and Negotiation Skills: Possess strong written, communication and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with debtors.
- Computer Literacy: Be computer literate and able to adapt to company software and applications.
- Teamwork: Work independently and as a team player to achieve targets.
- Customer Centric: Maintain a customer-centric approach to ensure all collection actions are compliant with company policies and procedures.
- Annual Leaves: Enjoy annual leaves capped at 18 days per annum.
- Compassionate Leaves: Entitled to compassionate leaves capped at 3 days per annum.
- Birthday Leave: Enjoy birthday leave on the actual day.
- Examination Leave: Eligible for examination leave up to 2 days per annum.
- Staff Referral Program: Receive a referral fee of $500.00 for each successful referral subject to company's terms and conditions.
- Performance Bonus: Eligible for performance bonus based on individual's performance.
- Commission: On top of basic salary, commission is applicable only to staff who achieve their targets.
