Job Overview

The role of a Debt Recovery Officer is to recover outstanding debts from debtors via phone calls, negotiation and follow-up actions.

  • Debt Collection: Conduct debt collection activities from debtors via phone calls and negotiations.
  • Follow-up Actions: Initiate necessary follow-up actions for collection in accordance with defined processes.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative duties including payment monitoring and file management.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service while ensuring all collection actions comply with company policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Written, Communication and Negotiation Skills: Possess strong written, communication and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with debtors.
  • Computer Literacy: Be computer literate and able to adapt to company software and applications.
  • Teamwork: Work independently and as a team player to achieve targets.
  • Customer Centric: Maintain a customer-centric approach to ensure all collection actions are compliant with company policies and procedures.
