The E-Commerce Director role is a high-level position that oversees the entire e-commerce operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital commerce, including e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and analytics tools.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute E-Commerce Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive online revenue growth, enhance user experience, and optimize online sales performance.
- Manage E-Commerce Platform: Oversee the company's e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless user experience, optimized site performance, and strong conversion rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and other relevant teams to improve sales, product listings, content, and website functionality.
- Digital Marketing Campaigns: Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and paid advertising to increase traffic and sales.
- Performance Metrics Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Technology Integration: Identify and implement new technologies, tools, and strategies to enhance e-commerce operations.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Partnerships and Integrations: Lead and manage e-commerce partnerships, marketplaces, and third-party integrations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and e-commerce regulations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce management or a similar role.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and digital marketing strategies. Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, and experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization.
- Leadership Abilities: Excellent project management and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership abilities and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Additional Requirements: Experience with online marketplaces (e.g., Lazada, Shopee, Amazon) is a plus.
