Job Overview

The role of a Strategic Sourcing Specialist plays a vital part in maintaining seamless production and cost optimization by procuring, negotiating, and managing the supply of raw materials, services, and logistics.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate strategic partnerships with suppliers/vendors to secure competitive pricing.
  • Source and evaluate raw materials, services, and office/manufacturing supplies to recommend suitable alternatives.
  • Prepare, release, and manage purchase orders in a timely manner to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure compliance with material specifications and requirements.
  • Work closely with Planning teams to prevent shortages, manage ramp-ups, and ensure critical parts availability.
  • Monitor suppliers' delivery and quality performance to maintain uninterrupted supply.
  • Act as liaison between Warehouse and Production departments to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Manage product pricing in procurement systems to optimize costs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Relevant years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems, inventory control, and cost management.

This position requires excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in ERP systems/SAP/MS Office is essential.
