Overview

A leading international retail, FMCG & Food Manufacturing group is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to join their Singapore headquarters. The role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of mall and grocery business across Southeast Asia. Base pay range: SGD 80,000.00/yr - SGD 120,000.00/yr

What you'll do
  • Manage end-to-end global sourcing operations for a major group expanding across Southeast Asia, including supplier development, procurement execution, and logistics management.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers, retailers, and distribution partners across borders to ensure smooth procurement and logistics from origin to destination.
  • Negotiate favourable supplier agreements, coordinate multiple projects, and maintain meticulous records to deliver operational excellence.
  • Leverage established overseas networks and identify new sourcing partners to strengthen the company's supply chain.
  • Conduct comprehensive market trend analysis and competitive benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Develop and implement overseas sourcing strategies aligned with growth and efficiency goals.
  • Manage import schedules and ensure timely delivery of goods; oversee logistics management, customs procedures, and documentation for international shipments.
  • Support private label raw material imports/exports and OEM project execution by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Drive joint sourcing initiatives with global retail partners to maximise cost efficiencies and product quality.
  • Monitor sourcing performance metrics and propose process improvements; ensure compliance with trade regulations and industry best practices.
What you bring
  • At least five years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or trading roles, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Experience working with global retailers or convenience store chains on large-scale sourcing projects.
  • Hands-on experience managing logistics operations, including import/export documentation and customs clearance.
  • Familiarity with private label import/export activities or OEM development projects is highly desirable.
  • Regional work experience across Southeast Asia markets.
  • Strong ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable sourcing strategies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across borders for supplier visits or project coordination.
