Job Responsibilities
- Aggressively hunt for new sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets set by BDP International.
- Take a proactive approach to generating leads through multiple channels, including cold calling, conferences, networking events, and referrals.
- Demonstrate expertise in freight forwarding, transportation, contract logistics, and multimodal solution selling, leveraging industry knowledge to close deals.
- Relentlessly pursue new business while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions.
- Build and strategically nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, including shippers, freight forwarders, manufacturers, and distributors.
- Actively engage with customers to understand their unique needs and develop tailored transportation and logistics solutions.
- Maintain a robust and well-managed sales pipeline, ensuring timely input and updates in the CRM system.
- Provide consistent sales reports and performance updates to management, ensuring transparency in sales efforts.
- Take full ownership of the RFQ process, driving it from initiation to completion with a results-oriented mindset.
