Supporting Trading Operations

We are seeking an experienced Trading Systems Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our portfolio management group, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our trading systems.

  • You will work directly with portfolio managers and quant teams to support daily trading operations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues across trading systems, and develop tools to enhance monitoring and reporting.
  • Automate processes to reduce operational risk and improve system reliability.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of experience in systematic or electronic trading environments.
  • Expert level Python development experience with strong SQL skills.
  • Solid experience with Java for backend development.
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, ArgoCD).
  • Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent).
  • Ability to work directly with front-office teams, gather requirements, and deliver solutions quickly.
  • Knowledge of equities, futures, FX, or other financial products.
  • Experience with Kafka, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Background in designing distributed systems with C/C++, Scala, Go, or C#.
