Job Opportunity:

  • To succeed as a Data Custodian, you will report to the Manufacturing Data Governance Lead and assist in understanding and meeting the needs of data consumers by creating data as a product.
  • You will support the Manufacturing Data Governance Lead in responsibility for data quality, management, and ownership. This includes initiating standardization of data definitions, models, and assessing and improving data quality.
  • You will participate in our data council and manage new data initiatives and related projects by defining high-level business cases, providing requirements, and tracking and prioritizing data projects within the domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance-related roles.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role with strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Experience in performance metrics.
  • Foundational knowledge in data architecture and data engineering, good understanding of data sources, transformation rules, and uses of the data for the area of stewardship.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently learn new business domains and problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence others and form deep relationships with colleagues.
