About This Is An IT Support Group - A Leader in Open Access Publishing
This Is An IT Support Group opens the doors to innovation for professionals. Every day, around the globe, our imprints, journals, platforms and technology solutions reach millions of people.
We are seeking an experienced Associate Editor to join our publishing team. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or Master's with research experience in medicine or life sciences, interest in open access publishing and scientific research, knowledge of editorial processes and excellent communication skills, customer-focused with strong analytical skills, willing to travel for external events, timely management and prioritization abilities, teamwork and cooperation skills, and previous editorial experience is a plus.
- Develop a journal development strategy, considering journal performance and overall strategy of the Discover Series.
- Support subject-specific strategy development with colleagues across the Journals group.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the academic publishing industry, excellent communication and project management skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
