Industrial Product Engineer

Job Description

The Industrial Product Engineer plays a pivotal role in providing technical support to production operations, ensuring seamless implementation of product engineering competencies. This role entails advocating industrial engineering best practices, collaborating with multi-functional teams, and implementing quality control measures.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Product Engineering Competencies
    • Manage product definition files and configurations
    • Innovate, improve, implement, evaluate, and sustain engineering processes and capabilities
    • Advocate engineering best practices supported by MFT and production to improve work processes and operational efficiencies
  • IPT Network Communication & Co-operations
    • Liaise with Design Authority and IPT for technical matters related to product performance and competitiveness
  • Technical Support
    • Monitor and escalate support effectiveness to Production Line Manager
    • Ensure adequate support to operation's requests and ensure adequate support given to production lines for product evolution qualification, capability setup, and relevant technical supports as required

Requirements:
  1. Degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
  2. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in technical support function
  3. Experience in aviation industry an added advantage
  4. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
