At SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD., we are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading a team of procurement specialists in their daily activities and ensuring that departmental objectives and metrics are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of procurement specialists in their daily activities and ensure that departmental objectives and metrics are met.
  • Work closely with the Planning Department to ensure timely release of purchase orders and delivery of all purchase orders on time.
  • Proactively monitor material delivery according to the SIOP plan to ensure no material shortage impact to production.
  • Perform weekly inventory monitoring to ensure all raw material inventory targets are achieved.
  • Review E&O and manage LTB activities to minimize obsolescence risk.
  • Streamline processes and drive continuous improvement in performance and customer/employee satisfaction.
  • Lead special projects and key initiatives identified from time to time, as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent disciplines.
  • 5 years of experience with 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good knowledge in SAP, especially for MM/PP modules.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple and complex tasks in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
