Restaurant Operations Manager

The Culinary Department at Heritage Hospitality Pte. Ltd. is seeking an exceptional Culinary Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for driving business profitability and productivity, while leading by example to provide outstanding service.

Accountabilities include:

  1. Ensuring food preparation and presentation meets guest expectations in a timely manner.
  2. Adhering to cost control measures with accuracy in kitchen ingredient measurements and food portions.
  3. Supporting the culinary team in maintaining set standards, procedures, and department rules, while continuously improving for effectiveness.
  4. Assisting with kitchen tool and equipment maintenance, taking necessary corrective actions.
  5. Managing kitchen inventory and ensuring supplies are fresh and of high quality.
  6. Ensuring proper food temperatures and storage at all times.
  7. Performing kitchen opening, closing, and administrative duties as directed.
  8. Supporting purchases, including equipment and food stock, within budget and par levels.
  9. Training and developing junior team members, with induction and mentorship opportunities.
  10. Implementing action plans according to directions shared, covering HR, cost control, and guest feedback.
  11. Adhering to workplace safety and food hygiene regulatory guidelines.
  12. Maintaining flexibility to perform other duties and projects as required.

Requirements:

  • A diploma in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in European culinary, with 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about European and Asian cuisine.
  • Attentive, adaptive, strong team player with an eye for detail.
