Medical Doctor Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Doctor to join our healthcare team.

As a Medical Doctor, you will be part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals working together to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to conduct ward rounds, handle acute medical issues, clerk new patients, prepare discharge summaries, perform ward procedures, and stay on-call during night shifts.

  • Conducting ward rounds and handling acute medical issues
  • Clerking new patients and preparing discharge summaries
  • Performing ward procedures and staying on-call during night shifts
  • Participating in quality improvement projects
  • Participating in patient care conferences, unplanned discharge rounds, mortality and morbidity rounds, and multidisciplinary rounds

Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • A medical degree recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
  • Full registration with the Singapore Medical Council or eligibility for conditional registration
  • Possess at least 3 years of post-housemanship working experience as a Medical Officer (or equivalent)
  • Experience in family medicine, geriatric medicine, or rehabilitation medicine preferred but not a prerequisite, or have a keen interest in these disciplines
  • Possess post-graduate diploma or degree would be an advantage
  • Currently be in active clinical practice
  • Team player with a passion for caring for the elderly, good bedside manner and patience
  • Positive mindset, collaborative and willing to go the extra mile
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
