Project Engineer Position

As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of power plant projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with EPC contractors to ensure seamless pre-bid and post-award activities.
  • Assisting project managers in developing regulatory and permitting plans, as well as supporting authority pre-consultations and permitting activities.
  • Collaborating with project managers to manage technical deliverables quality and progress, as well as preparing and following up on progress claims and contract management.
  • Supporting cost estimation efforts, including obtaining vendor quotes and contributing to technical design/deliverables.

You will also be responsible for participating in project reviews, taking ownership of project close-out, and supporting business development activities, including writing proposals.

Secondary Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, you will have secondary responsibilities that include:

  • Supervising site surveys, field studies, and reviews as required, in full compliance with safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Participating in constructability reviews, assisting with documentation, and supporting the development of Precommissioning/Commissioning plans.
Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering (either Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structure).
  • A minimum of five years of related experience, preferably in CCGT/GTG power plant projects.
  • The ability to communicate technical terms effectively in Mandarin.
  • Flexibility to support other New Energies projects as needed.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of MS PROJECT/Primavera Project Management (P6) is preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a keen willingness to learn and contribute.
