Project Manager Vacancy in the Construction Industry

Our esteemed client is seeking a Project Coordinator/Supervisor to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing day-to-day work carried out by subcontractors on-site.

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Position: Project Coordinator/Supervisor
  • Location: Islandwide (Office in Bishan)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8am onwards (with flexible daily hours. Must be available to address urgent site needs when required.)

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with experience in project management and coordination. They should also be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have a valid Class 3 driver's license (or own vehicle).

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and oversee day-to-day work carried out by subcontractors on-site.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and participate in site meetings and progress reviews.
  3. Review and interpret architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to support construction activities.
  4. Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
  5. Track construction progress to ensure works are completed according to schedule.

Requirements:

  • At least a Diploma in Engineering or related field, with minimum 2 years of working experience in project management, preferably in construction or field operations.
  • Experience in sourcing, quotation evaluation, contract management, and claims processing would be a plus.
  • Prior exposure to landed residential construction is preferred.
