Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Systems Technical Specialist to provide operational support for critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality technical assistance in line with service level agreements and customer contracts.
  • Maintain and monitor supported infrastructure, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
  • Analyze and resolve incidents, escalating to specialist teams when necessary.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers during major incidents, ensuring clear communication.
  • Perform proactive diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and fault analysis.
  • Manage spare parts, hardware replacements, and vendor coordination.
  • Implement system updates, configuration changes, and support deployments.
  • Adhere to industry best practices to ensure high-quality service and operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8), including patching, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Level 2 infrastructure or operations support roles.
  • Proficiency in VMware (vSphere, vCenter), Windows Server (2016/2019), and clustering.
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as IBM MQ, Apache/Tomcat, and monitoring tools (Nagios, eG).
  • Knowledge of security tools (McAfee, Nessus), load balancers (F5), and firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint).
  • Programming skills in Bash, Python, or Perl and basic Java debugging.
  • Experience with storage/backup systems (DELL EMC, Veritas) and DC failover testing.
  • ITIL Foundation v3 and/or Red Hat/VMware certifications are advantageous.
