Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Market Risk to lead our market risk management team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all market risk management and middle office functions supporting our Asia business entities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement market risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Group requirements and best practices.
- Manage a team of experienced risk analysts acting as the 2nd line of defence for daily trading P&L capture.
- Carry out stress testing, VaR, sensitivity analysis and other risk oversight tools to offer analysis of market conditions.
- Review trading strategies and embedded optionalities of non-standard transactions through active participation via discussions with front office, analytics and other risk functions such as credit.
- 15 years' experience in market risk or middle office in energy trading.
- Track record of managing sizeable market risk teams and leading transformation and change projects.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and commercial aptitude.
- Strong leadership, communication and presentations skills.
- Managerial skills essential to the success of this role.
- Desirable skills: programming skills like Python, SQL, Tableau, Matlab.
