The role of ESG Manager is critical in driving business sustainability and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

To excel in this position, you must have a solid understanding of environmental, social, and governance risks and opportunities. A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, sustainability, or business administration is required.

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in roles related to ESG issues, including developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives, is necessary for success in this role.

Key qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and standards
  • Understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities related to ESG in the oil & gas and/or renewable sector
  • Knowledge of local, national, and international environmental regulations and standards
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and implement ESG-related projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presenting to stakeholders, and conducting employee training

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research and coordinating activities on carbon trading
  • Compiling regulatory reports and environmental data
  • Organizing and conducting staff training on ESG
  • Designing and implementing sustainability initiatives aligned with organizational goals and industry standards
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards, preparing sustainability performance reports
