About the Role:
- As a Senior Emergency Preparedness Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring our organization is operationally ready to respond to emergencies.
- You will maintain the organization's preparedness to support operations during national or civil emergencies, or any healthcare-related incidents that pose a threat to public health.
- Your role will involve supporting planning of new clinics by incorporating emergency preparedness requirements into infrastructure design, staff training, and operations.
- You will collaborate with us to conduct table-top and full-scale emergency drills, review existing standard operating procedures, and revise response plans to ensure continued readiness.
- You will organize and/or deliver staff briefings and training sessions on emergency preparedness and security matters according to the annual work plan.
- Serving as Alternate Point-of-Contact for security matters under the Security Framework is also part of your responsibilities.
- You will propose security initiatives for senior management's endorsement, communicate approved measures to staff, and collaborate with clinic management teams on implementation.
- Conducting table-top and full-scale exercises (e.g. bomb threat simulations) to assess and strengthen the organization's security response readiness is another key aspect of this role.
- You will identify and coordinate relevant training courses to build clinic staff's security-related knowledge and competencies.
- Providing security planning guidance during the infrastructure development of new polyclinics is also an important responsibility.
- You will foster a data-driven culture by enabling clinic operations to leverage data and analytical tools for better decision-making and improved initiative outcomes.
- Developing, implementing, and managing key performance indicators and performance dashboards to provide actionable insights into emergency preparedness and security operations is also a key task.
Requirements:
- We are looking for a candidate with a degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in emergency planning.
- This role requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
