We are seeking a skilled Crypto Trading Desk Operations Specialist to join our trading team. This role is responsible for providing end-to-end trade support, performing trade bookings, verifications, and reconciliations.
Responsibilities:- Trade Support: Provide dedicated trade support to assigned trading desks, perform trade bookings, verifications, balance and position reconciliations, P&L attributions.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, delays, and other problems presented throughout the trade life cycle.
- Procedure Development: Develop and enhance booking and reconciliation procedures using coding skills.
- Risk Monitoring: Monitor risk positions against internal thresholds and develop new monitoring tools for the desk.
- Booking Model Design: Design and develop booking models for new products and corresponding checks and reconciliations.
- Funding Operations: Perform funding operations and settlement checks, investigate and resolve fund transfer issues, liaising internally with Treasury or with external brokers.
- Data Management: Maintain data integrity and data mapping, set up of new accounts and trading books.
- Analysis and Reporting: Assist in analysis of trading performance, P&L and risk attribution, assist promptly in ad-hoc/urgent requests from the trading desks relating to trade bookings or funding requests.
- System Enhancement: Engage with developers on projects that further enhance system infrastructure and controls.
- Educational Background: Degree holder in Finance/Accounting or Quantitative discipline.
- Work Experience: 3+ years of working experience on the Trading floor as Trading Assistant or Trade Support or in relevant functions such as Middle Office, Product Control in a financial services or crypto trading firm.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge in Python and an interest to expand technical skills.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, detailed-oriented mindset with a high degree of accuracy, positive and proactive, critical thinker who strives for continuous improvement, results-oriented, thinks outside of the box and can deliver under pressure.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
