Job Title: Senior Manager, Rail Maintenance

This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of rail asset maintenance strategies in line with best practices and regulatory requirements. You will drive the adoption of condition-based and data-driven maintenance through technology and diagnostic tools. Additionally, you will spearhead professional competency development and structured learning pathways under the Rail Achiever Scheme.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Project Management, preferably with tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. You will have 5 to 10+ years of experience in rail maintenance or a similar engineering environment, with proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors. Familiarity with asset management systems, budgets, and fleet maintenance is also required.

You will be skilled in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety legislation interpretation. Excellent planning, stakeholder management, and communication abilities are necessary to drive team performance and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Degree in Engineering or Project Management
