Rail Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement rail asset maintenance strategies aligned with industry best practices.
  • Drive the adoption of data-driven maintenance through technology and diagnostic tools.
  • Spearhead competency development and learning pathways for maintenance teams.
  • Support the formulation of technical orders, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide engineering support for rail projects and asset mobilizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and adopt best practices.
  • Promote a safety-first culture in all maintenance operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: A degree in Engineering or Project Management is required. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications are preferred.
  • Experience: 5-10+ years of experience in rail maintenance or a similar engineering environment.
  • Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of maintenance strategies, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
