Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to lead our shipping and warehousing activities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods and maintaining quality control.

  • Plan and coordinate logistics operations to meet customer demands and ensure efficient delivery of goods.
  • Liaise with Sales and Production personnel to resolve delivery issues and maintain quality standards.
  • Oversee the management of warehouse layout, inventory levels, and material handling equipment.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for shipping and warehousing activities.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and colleagues to negotiate competitive deals and resolve any issues that may arise during shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To plan and execute logistics operations efficiently and effectively.
  2. To develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
  3. To identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
