About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Domain Software Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our Univers SaaS product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operation, monitoring, and optimization of domain software to ensure high availability and stability.
  • Respond to and resolve technical issues within the domain application, including troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Support applications developed by the company for production deployment.
  • Provide governance in application maintenance and software deployment.
  • Coordinate between product, project, and customer teams for product-related issues.
  • Feedback issues to product teams for better product enablement.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor with clients and colleagues.
  • Develop capability as a domain SME in both IT and business knowledge, e.g., energy management/Micro-Grid software deployment and upgrade where necessary.
  • Create and maintain operational documentation, troubleshooting guides, and related technical materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years' experience in Application Maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience on Linux commands, web debugging skills, and issue investigation.
  • Rich experience on database (Mysql, Redis, TSDB, etc.).
  • VMware and/or Azure experience is a plus.
  • Able to handle fast-moving technology trends.
  • Domain experience is a plus (Renewables, Energy management, Micro-Grid).
  • Open mind to learn new technology and adapt to new areas in a fast-growing organization.
  • Team player with a positive working attitude and ability to handle tight deadlines.
  • Highly versatile and adaptable to changes, able to work independently in a fast-moving environment, and able to cross multiple functions.
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Chinese speaking and reading would be a big plus.
  • Take ownership of what you work on, self-driven, and self-esteem as a silo in the O&M and Infrastructure governance structure.
  • Operations mindset, able to balance short-term workaround to resolve production issue vs long-term sustainable resolution.
