Process Optimization Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex transfer molding process issues, as well as implementing incremental process improvements aimed at enhancing quality, throughput, and process capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve complex transfer molding process issues at both in-house and customer sites.
  • Propose, evaluate, and implement incremental process improvements to enhance quality, throughput, and process capability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
  • Provide expert technical guidance on packaging design and process parameters to ensure optimal transfer molding process outcomes.
  • Establish transfer molding processes for new customer products and conduct thorough process assessments and evaluations.
  • Affirm change proposals related to the molding process, including new parts, mechanisms, software features, and sequences, and deliver comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct regular visits to international customers to provide process support, facilitate project rollouts, and assist with new feature releases.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in transfer molding and/or other backend processes, with substantial hands-on experience.
  • Extensive practical experience in diagnosing and resolving process issues, as well as implementing process optimizations.
  • Knowledge of transfer molding processes, automated semiconductor equipment, and running a DOE.
  • Very good English skills (verbal and written).
  • Proven problem-solving skills (in process, mechanical, SW control).
  • Knowledge, experience, and practice on ESG initiatives is an added advantage.
