Key Roles and Responsibilities:

A critical member of our deployment team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for Salesforce deployments. This role requires a high level of technical expertise in Salesforce development and deployment processes.

The successful candidate will own and manage the Salesforce deployment process across sandboxes and production environments. They will work closely with development, QA, and business teams to coordinate releases, troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, and establish best practices around branching strategies, version control, and code quality.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing automation scripts for metadata validation, testing, and packaging using Salesforce DX, GitLab CI, and SFDX CLI;
• Maintaining and improving release documentation, deployment logs, and rollback procedures;
• Monitoring pipeline performance and identifying optimization opportunities;
• Managing change sets, unlocked packages, or source-based deployments depending on project setup.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, DevOps Specialist) and exposure to Git branching strategies like GitFlow or trunk-based development. They should also have experience working in multi-org or multi-cloud Salesforce environments (e.g., Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud).

Some required skills and qualifications include:

• Expertise in Salesforce development and deployment processes;
• Proficiency in Git and GitLab;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts;
• Knowledge of Salesforce DX, SFDX CLI, and other relevant tools;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
