Community Outreach Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Community Outreach Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach programs for migrant workers in dormitories, recreation centers, and other facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage with community partners, volunteers, and employees to develop and implement outreach programs for migrant workers.
  • Plan and coordinate with corporate partners, volunteers, and student groups to identify new platforms for outreach.
  • Support program evaluation, reporting, and standard operating procedures review to ensure service quality.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, assist casework, and help with daily operations.
  • Implement case plans, community development projects, and group interventions.
  • Conduct assessments, maintain case notes, and review interventions to improve outcomes, while collaborating with other agencies to pool resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in case work, social services, or a related field.
  • Intermediate understanding of social work theories, ethics, casework, group work, and community development.
  • Proficiency in social work interventions and programs through targeted activities.
  • Ministry of Manpower regulations and social policies affecting migrant worker communities.
  • Ability to speak Tamil and Bengali is advantageous in order to communicate with the migrant worker community who are mostly from India and Bangladesh.
