Job Title: Elite Youth Basketball Development Coach

We are seeking an experienced and visionary coach to lead our elite youth basketball development program. As the head coach of this prestigious program, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and overseeing the long-term development of student-athletes in both 3x3 and 5v5 formats.

Responsibilities:
  • Student-Athlete Development & Programme Management: Oversee the holistic development of student-athletes, integrating Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) principles and best practices in youth sport. Develop age- and level-appropriate training plans, supervise training and competition planning, and ensure the integration of sport science, medicine, and performance analytics into programme design and delivery.
  • Strategic Leadership of the Academy: Shape and champion the shared vision and direction of the basketball academy, collaborating with stakeholders to formulate and review annual workplans. Mentor and support the growth of all coaches in the program through structured professional development plans.
  • Partnership & Communication: Engage regularly with relevant stakeholders to enhance the integration of sports science and ensure alignment with national talent pipeline strategies. Maintain open communication with parents, academic staff, and support personnel to ensure the holistic management of student-athletes.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years coaching experience at professional, national youth, or equivalent elite academy level.
  • A track record of developing youth athletes to national/international standards.
  • Strong knowledge of LTAD and FIBA 3x3/5v5 competitions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
