Singapore SG BASKETBALL PTE. LTD. Full time $30,000 - $60,000 per year

2XSG, consisting of SG Basketball and FastBreak Singapore, manages the largest basketball operations in Singapore and across the region.

SG Basketball: Men's Division One team, 50+ youth teams, thousands of student-athletes, adult leagues, and ShotZone, which is Singapore's only dedicated basketball training facility. In addition, SG Basketball also runs the SPBL (nation's largest youth league, 2,000+ kids weekly) and the Asia Pacific Cup (Asia's biggest youth tournament with 200 teams & 1M+ Instagram views).

FastBreak Singapore: Founded in 2007, FastBreak SG is one of Singapore's top youth basketball academies with 5,000+ players, known for its structured programs, skill development, and competitive play.

FastBreak KL: Launched in 2024, FastBreak KL is expanding regionally with 150+ players in the first month, running the MPBL, KL's first open club league.

Our Philosophy: Professionally managed, with a full-time coaching staff, partnering with schools to use basketball as a platform to teach resilience, teamwork, leadership, and growth.

Role: Coaching Intern (Job Shadowing)

Duration: Flexible

Location: ShotZone

What You'll Do:

  • Shadow experienced coaches during training sessions and games
  • Learn how to structure youth training programs by age group
  • Support in managing drills, warm-ups, and practice routines
  • Observe coach-to-player interaction and how to manage large groups
  • Gain exposure to league & tournament environments (SPBL, APC)

Requirements:

  • Polytechnic or JC student (Sports, PE, Education, or general interest in coaching)
  • Passionate about basketball, sports, or youth development
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and willing to learn
  • Playing background is a bonus, but not required
