Job Title: Basketball Coaching Mentorship

Roles and Responsibilities

At our organization, we oversee the largest basketball operations in Singapore and across the region. Our teams comprise men's Division One, youth leagues with over 2000 kids weekly, and Asia's biggest youth tournament with 200 teams.

We are a professionally managed entity with a full-time coaching staff, partnering with schools to teach resilience, teamwork, leadership, and growth through basketball.

As a Basketball Coaching Mentor (Shadowing), you will:

  • Shadow experienced coaches during training sessions and games
  • Learn how to structure youth training programs by age group
  • Support in managing drills, warm-ups, and practice routines
  • Observe coach-to-player interaction and how to manage large groups
  • Gain exposure to league & tournament environments

Requirements:

  • Polytechnic or JC student (Sports, PE, Education, or general interest in coaching)
  • Passionate about basketball, sports, or youth development
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and willing to learn
  • Playing background is a bonus, but not required

You will gain hands-on job shadowing experience, insight into structured training, experience in leadership, communication, and teamwork, and a pathway to future coaching opportunities.
