Relief Teaching Assistant, Early Years

The school is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Early Years department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about working with young children and supporting their learning and development.

As a Relief Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our teachers to deliver high-quality education programs and ensure that students receive the best possible support and care.

About the Role:

This is a relief-based position, which means you will be contacted by the relief coordinator when a permanent member of staff is off work. You will work on a flexible basis, providing cover for absent colleagues and ensuring continuity of learning for our students.

  • Assist teachers in delivering education programs and supporting activities within and outside the classroom
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional help
  • Help maintain a safe and organized learning environment
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and use your initiative. You should also possess highly developed communication and organizational skills, and be able to work effectively with children and adults alike.

  • At least 1 year of experience in working with children or a relevant educational certificate/diploma required
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
