Job Overview

A Senior Research Professional is sought to provide administrative support to researchers and collaborators from academic and healthcare institutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling key responsibilities such as IRB application submission & management, grant management and tracking of utilized/disbursed funds according to prevailing regulations and policies, close monitoring of research KPIs and deliverables, research procurement, processing of vendor invoices and payments, research website administration (internal/external), organize research-related training / workshops, provide grant administration support to research teams, liaison with internal/external research stakeholders, provide support in daily operational matters/adhoc projects, and provide secretariat support – taking accurate minutes for meetings when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling IRB applications and grants;
  • Close monitoring of research KPIs and deliverables;
  • Research procurement and vendor invoice processing;
  • Research website administration and maintenance;
  • Organizing research-related training/workshops;
  • Liaising with internal/external research stakeholders;
  • Providing secretariat support – taking accurate meeting minutes.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Nursing;
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in research administration/project management;
  • Highly competent IT skills, including MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a strong understanding of the evolving research landscape in Singapore;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work within given deadlines;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good report-writing ability.
