Responsibilities
- Attend to and handle customer inquiries related to loan matters, including loan retention, and make outbound calls as required.
- Review customers' existing loan packages and provide advice on available options.
- Protect the loan portfolio by managing customer expectations on loan repricing packages.
- Respond promptly and accurately to customers' requests.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the bank's products and services.
- Achieve referral targets set by the business.
- Cover Team Manager duties in their absence and provide coaching to new staff.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree required.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in customer service and knowledge of banking products and services.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong customer focus.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Ownership of results.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of loan products and loan computation.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory compliance, legal, and insurance aspects of mortgage loans.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word programs.
