Warehouse Management is a critical function that requires effective leadership and operational skills. As a Warehouse Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire warehouse operation, from receiving and storing goods to dispatching them to customers.

You will be in charge of managing inventory levels, implementing efficient storage procedures, and ensuring accurate receipt, tagging, and dispatch of materials. Your role will also involve supervising and training store personnel, enforcing safety and housekeeping standards, and coordinating with contractors and suppliers for efficient storage and logistics.

  • Manage stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and prepare periodic reports for management and audits.
  • Implement proper storage procedures, ensure accurate receipt, tagging, and dispatch of materials.
  • Supervise and train store personnel, enforce safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and forwarders for efficient storage and logistics.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in logistics, supply chain, or related fields. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work well under pressure, and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse/store or inventory operations.
  • Diploma in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations (ISO standards preferred).
  • Forklift Operator License (advantageous).
