Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Assistant Manager, Operations in overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with documented procedures.
  • Lead the team to achieve departmental KPI goals and maintain high levels of efficiency.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update documentation of processes to meet accounts requirements and changes in customer requirements.
  • Ensure timely processing of all inbound and outbound activities and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of employees to ensure standard practices and proper care of equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Provide on-the-job training to warehouse staff and perform inventory reconciliation on stock discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through planned cycle counts, monthly inventory reconciliations, and related reports.
  • Highlight any irregularities in the warehouse to the Operations Manager and ensure warehouse operations safety and security.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in implementing work improvement projects and communicate with customers on operations and service issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Logistics with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
  • 'O' levels or Diploma in Logistics, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Good leadership skills, able to use a systematic approach in decision-making, and exhibit good judgment and understanding of issues.
