Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

To succeed in this role, you must be able to oversee and manage the daily operations of stores to ensure smooth running. This includes implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other operational protocols. You will lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve desired business results. Supervising, guiding, and training all personnel is also essential to maintain customer satisfaction. Establishing and aligning monthly targets for sales turnover, food, and labor costs, as well as operating expenses, are key aspects of this position.

  • Thoroughly monitoring, controlling, and reporting all Profit and Loss (P&L) line items is crucial. This involves working closely with the management team to analyze financial data and make informed decisions. Additionally, managing stock and setup according to brand standards is an important aspect of the job.
  • You will also need to have a thorough understanding of the restaurant menu and be able to provide recommendations to guests as required. Interacting with customers, taking orders, and providing quality service are all essential skills for success in this role. Maintaining a clean and well-maintained workplace at all times is also critical.
  • Compliance with SFA regulations and handling customer service feedback and recovery are also key responsibilities of the Restaurant Operations Manager.
  • Developing new operating strategies to improve operational efficiency and maximize productivity is an ongoing process that requires creativity and analytical skills.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry.
  2. Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary to effectively interact with staff and stakeholders.
  3. Experience in analyzing profitability and costing is highly desirable.
  4. Basic food hygiene certification is a requirement for this role.
  5. Barista or Bartender training is a strong plus, but not essential.
