Job Title: Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new customers and maintaining existing revenue streams.
You will spend 70% of your time hunting new prospects and upselling to existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Developing New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Issuing Quotations and Preparing RFQs: Prepare and issue quotations, RFQs, tender bids, and review rates to ensure alignment with company standards.
- Providing Weekly Sales Progress Reports: Deliver weekly sales progress reports to management to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Meeting and Exceeding Sales Targets: Meet and exceed set sales targets in terms of generating revenue and contributing gross profit.
- Maintaining CRM Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of customer details, sales visits, and sales progress.
- Negotiating with Accounts: Negotiate with accounts to maximize profit margins and drive revenue growth.
- Timely and Professional Communication: Ensure timely and professional communication with customers to maintain positive relationships.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
- Experience: 2-3 years of sales experience in 3rd Party Logistics, distribution, freight forwarding (B2C, B2B2C), or e-commerce.
- Skills: Experience in hunting and developing new sales opportunities.
