Job Title:

Horticulture Team Lead

Description:

This role involves overseeing horticultural operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of landscape design intent. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth through strategic initiatives and process improvements.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement horticultural strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  2. Liaise with stakeholders to identify and address operational challenges, ensuring seamless integration across departments
  3. Maintain accurate records and reports on horticultural operations, including resource utilization and productivity metrics
  4. Collaborate with the development team to manage defects and ensure timely clearance inspections
  5. Support senior management in driving business continuity and implementing change management initiatives
  6. Participate in proposal preparation, presenting job completion, and other initiatives as required
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Botany, Horticulture, Forestry Science, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in relevant local industry
  3. Professional certifications such as AIH Certified Practising Horticulturist or ISA certified Arborist are an added advantage
  4. Familiarity with SESAMI and SAP systems is beneficial
  5. Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
  6. Purpose-driven leadership qualities to manage a team effectively
