Job Title: Wellness Care Specialist

The Wellness Care Specialist provides exceptional care to patients by managing their needs and expectations, ensuring a safe and relaxing experience. This includes treating clients with soft tissue manipulation, perceiving client needs through verbal and non-verbal cues, and modifying treatments accordingly.

Responsibilities:
• Manage patient's needs and care within the clinic
• Treat clients through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience
• Perceive client needs through spoken language, body language, and other cues
• Modify treatments accordingly
• Report to the business owner or manager
• Provide 30-60 minute massages to clients by appointment
• Guide clients through service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them most
• Take a detailed client history and note any health conditions
• Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
• Advise clients on stretching, strengthening, or relaxation methods
• Suggest future massage appointments and regimes to clients
• Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as desired

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Relevant education certification for massage therapists
• Experience working in a spa is preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Time management abilities
• Demonstrated sales and customer service skills
