Job Title: Associate Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the architectural engineering consultant team in the design of hospitals to meet design programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating design change and working closely with clients to meet their design requirements.
  • Effectively communicating project requirements, gathering stakeholder requirements, managing design changes, and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Managing client teams to deliver required quality and schedule requirements.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs to improve project performance.
  • Managing the change control process.
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports.
  • Taking a leading role in interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages.

Requirements:

  • Trained in architecture, design management, or other comparable design and project management disciplines.
  • A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from dealing with strategic issues at conception stage, design development, construction, testing, and commissioning, through completion and post-project review.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of all main project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction industry technical matters.
  • People management experience, particularly in managing large client teams and multi-disciplinary consultant teams to deliver mega-scale projects.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Practical knowledge of digital tools 360, Power BI, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering Rhinoceros, Revit/BIM, 3D Max, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lumion/Enscape/Unreal engine/Twin motion.
  • Experience in scope baseline management/change control work.
