Quality Assurance and Software Engineering Professional

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in quality assurance and software engineering, with experience in developing test strategies, test plans and test cases to ensure high-quality code. This individual will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive QA principles and practices in Agile teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing test strategies, test plans and test cases to ensure high-quality code
  • Driving QA principles and practices in Agile teams
  • Collaborating with development teams to create and manage automated functional tests
  • Performing manual and automated testing to inspire confidence and improve the existing automation framework and tests

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and testing various applications for production
  • Experience working in high-performance Agile software engineering teams using best practices like Kanban/Scrum/Lean/XP, Test Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of fundamental code principles like Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Page Object Model (POM)
  • Experience in using clean code practices to write readable, maintainable code to test applications
  • Experience in using either Cypress or Playwright
