Job Title: Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing precision plastic injection molds in accordance with the requirements.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Constructing mold design layouts and conducting mold design review meetings.
  • Designing tools and performing other duties as assigned.

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess at least a Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Precision Engineering, or any equivalent engineering discipline. A minimum of 2 years of working experience in tool design is also required.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in making LSR mold designs and packaging mold designs.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Unigraphics, and Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and GD&T.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop complex designs to the point of manufacture and release to production. A team player with good verbal and written communication skills is also essential.
