Job Title: Cloud IoT Solutions Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud IoT Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-based IoT solutions. The successful candidate will engage with business users to gather and evaluate requirements and use cases.

The ideal candidate will develop and implement processes to ensure smooth operation and security of IoT devices and systems, as well as perform system administration duties to manage and support highly available ICT infrastructure environments.

This role requires strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud architectures, preferably on AWS, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js, and experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

The candidate will also have familiarity with IoT protocols, data ingestion, and real-time data processing, as well as experience in development & deployment on commercial clouds such as Amazon Web Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based IoT solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Leverage expertise in cloud architectures, IoT protocols, and data processing to drive solution development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery and sustainability.
  • Maintain high levels of security and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Holds a degree with at least 3-5 years of experience in cloud-based IoT engineering or a similar role.
  2. Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud architectures, preferably on AWS.
  3. Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js, and experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  4. Familiarity with IoT protocols, data ingestion, and real-time data processing.
