Job Title: Cloud IoT Engineer

At our organization, we are seeking a talented and experienced engineer to join our team as a Cloud IoT Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions for cutting-edge Internet of Things (IoT) products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate requirements and use cases from business users
  • Turn requirements and use cases into system architectures and designs
  • Perform risk assessments with business users and provide guidance for end-to-end system integration in terms of cybersecurity and sensor connectivity
  • Lead projects alongside business users and vendors to ensure project delivery and sustainability
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure smooth operation and security of IoT devices and systems
  • Perform system administration duties to manage and support highly available ICT infrastructure environments
  • Provide technical leadership through innovation, research, and evaluation of IoT/cloud technologies and solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud architectures, preferably on AWS
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Familiarity with IoT protocols, data ingestion, and real-time data processing
  • Experience with development and deployment on commercial clouds such as Amazon Web Services
  • Exposure to cloud-enabled tools such as Terraform, CI/CD Technologies, Machine Learning/Analytics Services
  • Understanding of the concept of Secure-By-Design Lifecycle for Cloud & IoT Devices
