Job Title:

Cloud-Based IoT Architect

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud-Based IoT Architect to design, develop and maintain cutting-edge cloud-based solutions for our Internet of Things (IoT) products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architectures, preferably on AWS, and experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and evaluate requirements and use cases with business stakeholders.
  • Turn requirements and use cases into system architectures and designs.
  • Perform risk assessment with business stakeholders and provide guidance on end-to-end system integration in terms of cybersecurity and sensor connectivity.
  • Lead projects alongside business stakeholders and vendors to ensure project delivery and sustainability.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure smooth operation and security of IoT devices and systems.
  • Perform system administration duties to manage and support highly available ICT infrastructure environments and related operations.
Requirements:
  • Degree + Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cloud-based IoT engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud architectures, preferably on AWS.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java or C# and experience with containerization technologies.
  • Familiarity with IoT protocols, data ingestion and real-time data processing.
