Job Title: Cloud IoT Professional

The Cloud IoT Specialist is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining cutting-edge cloud-based solutions for Internet of Things (IoT) products and services.

  • Engage business stakeholders to gather requirements and evaluate use cases.
  • Transform requirements into system architectures and designs.
  • Conduct risk assessments with business stakeholders and provide guidance on cybersecurity and sensor connectivity.
  • Lead projects alongside business stakeholders and vendors to ensure delivery and sustainability.
  • Develop processes to ensure smooth operation and security of IoT devices and systems.
  • Perform administrative duties to manage ICT infrastructure environment and related operations.
  • Provide technical leadership through innovation, research and evaluation of IoT/Cloud technologies.

Key Requirements:

  • Hold a degree and 3-5 years of experience in cloud-based IoT engineering or a similar role.
  • Have strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud architectures, preferably on AWS.
  • Be proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++ and containerisation technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with IoT protocols, data ingestion and real-time data processing.
