
Insurance Claims Specialist

A claim specialist will be responsible for handling insurance claims, interacting with clients and other stakeholders, managing correspondence and attending meetings. The ideal candidate should have experience in the insurance sector and possess relevant skills and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients, intermediaries, surveyors/adjusters, handling agents and other relevant stakeholders.
- Manage correspondence and attend meetings with clients/intermediaries.
- Gather relevant customers' details, arrange surveys and contact settling agents.
- Create claim files/checklist and check policy/reinsurance/treaty arrangements.
- Send Acknowledgment Letter and request necessary claims documents.
- Prepare and dispatch Advices and conduct follow-ups.
- Draft letters for approval.
- Verify premium payments.
- Update and review claims records.
- Assist with UAT and ad-hoc duties assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with claims in the Insurance sectors.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Possess Insurance Certificates.
