Job Overview

Migrate enterprise environments to Windows 11 using Microsoft Intune, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy from Windows 10 to Windows 11 using Microsoft Intune.
  • Conduct thorough device readiness assessments to identify and resolve hardware/software compatibility issues.
  • Design and deploy Windows 11 images and provisioning packages, guaranteeing optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Manage and update device compliance and configuration policies in Intune, maintaining high levels of security and control.
  • Create and maintain Autopilot profiles for Windows 11 deployment, streamlining the transition process.
  • Implement application packaging and deployment through Intune, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate deployment failures and post-migration issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
  • Collaborate closely with security teams to ensure endpoint protection standards are met, safeguarding sensitive data and systems.
  • Document technical processes, build guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Provide expert technical support during pilot and enterprise rollout phases, addressing queries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Train IT staff and support teams on Windows 11-related procedures and troubleshooting, empowering them to handle day-to-day challenges efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager, demonstrating expertise in its capabilities and limitations.
  • Deep understanding of Windows OS internals, especially Windows 10 and 11, allowing for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Hands-on experience with Autopilot, device enrollment, and configuration profiles, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Experience with Group Policy Objects (GPO) and migration to MDM policies, facilitating smooth transitions and minimizing disruptions.
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell preferred) for automation tasks, streamlining processes and enhancing productivity.
  • Experience with application packaging and Win32 deployments via Intune, ensuring efficient and secure integration with existing systems.
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and conditional access policies, safeguarding sensitive data and systems.
